Group Volunteering

Operation Red Nose Winnipeg has a corporate / party volunteering experience for you, your colleagues, and friends to volunteer in a group setting, forming Drive Teams in groups of 3 people. You work together for your community while engaging in a fun team-building event!

We offer your party our famed volunteer hospitality and catering for your volunteering experience typical of our community volunteers, but we also provide group photos with Rudy (our mascot), and private channel two-way radios to create a little competition and banter between your teams. It's fun, and you are doing great work for your community and youth at the same time!

To take advantage of this option, you need 9+ people participating together on one of our campaign nights.

After your experience, Operation Red Nose Winnipeg allows you to donate 50% of proceeds from VOLUNTARY ride donations received by your party to a registered youth charity or non-profit of your choice. The remaining donations go to the Winnipeg Kids Foundation.

Volunteer Declaration

I authorize Operation Red Nose Winnipeg to initiate a criminal record check to ensure that I meet the selection criteria set out by Operation Red Nose in this application.

I understand that I must attend a criminal record check event in person at Safety Services Manitoba at a pre-arranged weekly time slot to finalize my volunteer application. This "STEP 2" of your application is newly required by the Winnipeg Police and its agent, Forest Green Products, concerning PIPEDA and privacy laws. Operation Red Nose Winnipeg and its representatives cannot process this part of your volunteer application on your behalf.

This is a change to prior years and is intended to act as a verification step that you agree to having your criminal record check completed.

Only judicial antecedents that Operation Red Nose deems incompatible with the volunteer's assignment will be considered in a rejection of an application.

I authorize Operation Red Nose to request data from my driver's abstract from MPI to check the validity of my driving licence. I also consent to MPI forwarding the check results to Operation Red Nose Winnipeg.

A false declaration will result in the refusal of the application.
